The Dometic CCF-T, which uses true compressor technology, has 12 volt, 9 liters of capacity and holds 12 cans or six tall 20-ounce bottles, which can be completely cooled to 41 degrees in about two hours. The nearly silent compressor runs when the vehicle is running (a switch on the unit turns it off if cooling is not desired) or until it senses the battery voltage has reached 12 volts, in which case it will automatically shut off, turning back on when the vehicle is started.
